Strange thing is: when I change all the settings and then go to the profile manager, I can see all values how I set them in the profile manager of my current selected profile and I can even update the profile based on the current settings and it says they are persisted. WebAlso, if you use Cura you have to edit out some comments in cura usb plugin, or the printer will crash if you connect a usb cable when cura is open. Do this. Quite simply, you have to comment lines of the file AutoDetectBaudJob.py which is in the directory: c : \ Program Files \ Ultimaker Cura 4.3 \ plugins \ USBPrinting \

It is often convenient to define custom macros in the Klipper config file instead - such as: [gcode_macro START_PRINT] and [gcode_macro END_PRINT]. Then one can just run START_PRINT and END_PRINT in the slicer's configuration. Webenable Firmware Retraction in your slicer if you want to be able to calibrate/tune retraction with the tunning tower feature in Klipper. I highly recommend calibrating this way. WebI'm using Cura as my slicer with Klipper. I want to setup firmware retraction and from what I understand I need to install the 'Printer Settings' Cura plugin to enable firmware retraction. However this plugin seems to configure and setup a bunch of other settings as well such as speed, acceleration, jerk, steps. WebThis would allow the best of both firmware and slicer retraction. Could still use wipe on retract, but control the paramiters from firmware for easy calibration.
